Olga Tumuruc, Director of e-Governance Agency, attended the Conference aimed at promoting the client.chamber.md platform, held today, 27 September. The event was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova (CCI) and brought together over 80 participants, including public and private institutions, economic operators and entrepreneurs from all over the country. The goal of the event was to promote digital services provided by the CCI through this platform.

Following the implementation of this service, over 50 economic operators will connect to the client.chamber.md platform, where they will have access to online goods expertise services, developed to facilitate and simplify the export procedures. This became possible after the companies received electronic signatures. By promoting digital platforms, the CCI urges the business community to use electronic services, which can help them reduce the impact of pandemic restrictions on business activity.

In her message addressed to the participants in the event, Olga Tumuruc said: “Technologies are part of the reality of life and of our professional activity. Their use in the delivery of public services brings added value, but we need to work together in order to take concrete steps towards digitalization, with a greater degree of accountability, if we want to achieve results that will anchor us in the future”.

The special guest at the conference, the Deputy Prime Minister for Digitalization, Iurie Turcanu, said: "Innovation is the key to development, to building a better future, but especially to overcoming the pandemic crisis from which we need to emerge stronger and better prepared."

The conference agenda also included training activities for participants on the use of government electronic platforms and services developed and managed by EGA, including MPass, MSign, MPower, etc., services that are constantly improving and upgraded with new features, about which the users are regularly informed by e-governance experts.

According to the CCI President Serghei Harea, the institution invests a lot of resources in the digitization of services provided to beneficiaries and this is possible due to active cooperation with the e-Governance Agency, with which it has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, but also due to donor support provided under the OPTIM project implemented by SDC, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
