The governmental electronic notification service MNotify is used by government institutions to notify and inform users of public services about important events in relation to authorities, by sending messages through different notification channels at the user's choice. These messages relate to debts, fines, settlements, payments, indemnities, allowances and other to be paid by citizens to the state and/or vice versa.
Through this electronic service mnotify.gov.md, the citizen (individual or legal person) is informed (notified) by public institutions about certain services provided by the state, while that service is not requested by the beneficiary. Both individuals and legal persons can be beneficiaries.
The governmental electronic notification service MNotify was launched in November 2020 and is integrated with the Citizen's Governmental Portal. Users receive electronic notifications also through the portal mcabinet.gov.md.
Notifications in MNotify can be generated automatically by information systems or manually by service providers' operators via the web interface.
To send notifications, MNotify uses the following notification channels:
- electronic mail (e-mail)
- Citizen's Portal
- push notifications
- short messages (sms)
- instant messaging (chat)
The MNotify service is provided free of charge to Senders (public authorities and institutions), as well as to Recipients.
