Citizens of the Republic of Moldova can receive at their place of residence IDs and other documents requested from state institutions, through the governmental delivery service (MDelivery), which was developed based on the Concept approved by the Government on 25 August 2021 and the Regulation on the functioning and use of the MDelivery Service, approved on 23 March 2022.
The service was launched on 29 July 2022 and aims to provide public authorities, institutions and public service providers with an efficient, reliable and modern technical solution to be used as a single mechanism for physical delivery of results of provided public services to beneficiaries.
The information platform MDelivery (www.mdelivery.gov.md) was developed by connecting three parties: the public service provider, as sender, the public service beneficiary, as recipient of the delivery, and the postal service provider. This platform will reduce costs for all three parties involved and will streamline the process of delivering the result of the public service to the beneficiary. Individuals can request home delivery of the document ordered from the operator of the service provider or they can access the platform mdelivery.gov.md and follow the steps described to order the document delivery.
