The governmental electronic service MPower is a register of representative powers based on electronic signature. It was created by the e-Governance Agency and launched in November 2020. The MPower service can be accessed at mpower.gov.md.
By using the Automated Information System "Register of representative powers based on electronic signature MPower" as a mechanism for granting representative powers, which do not require a notarial authentication under the law, the risks of signature forgery and the expenses of the authorized representative are reduced.
In this context, AIS “MPower” is an effective solution to such problems by providing a safe, flexible and convenient mechanism for managing representative powers by individuals and legal entities, with the possibility of verifying the existence and validity of such powers by the public authorities of the Republic of Moldova.
The MPower system is a tool for granting the power to act on behalf of someone and benefit from certain services instead of the individual or legal entity who granted the power. This service can also be used by citizens of the Republic of Moldova staying abroad, who have an electronic signature and who can grant representative powers (e-powers) to persons staying in the country. In order to grant the power, you need to access mpower.gov.md and authenticate yourself by using the electronic (mobile) signature, then follow the instructions on granting a power.

More than 30 types of powers are available on the MPower platform to obtain services from the Public Services Agency, Information Technology Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, SOE "Posta Moldovei", Chamber of Commerce and Industry, National Bureau of Statistics, National Social Insurance Agency, etc.
The list will be supplemented with other related services provided by Moldovan public institutions working with citizens, such as the State Tax Service, National Health Insurance Company and others.
