2024-10-07 10:36

The tools and platforms developed by the e-Governance Agency (EGA) were presented recently at an information session on “Digitized public services closer to citizens” dedicated to representatives of local authorities from Stefan Voda district.

During the information session, the EGA representatives talked about the digitalized public services accessible to citizens through the Unified Public Service Delivery Centres (CUPS), about the benefits of the platforms: Mpass, Msign, Mpower, MDelivery, services.gov.md, EVO, but also about how CUPS contribute to improve the efficiency of administrative processes, reducing bureaucracy and simplifying citizens’ access to services.

The session was attended by representatives of the Stefan Voda District Council, PI “Cadastre of Immovable Property”, public associations from the district, as well as CUPS specialists from Carahasani, Cioburciu, Caplani and Volintiri.

Representatives of local authorities underlined the importance of the digitalization process of public services, as well as their availability and accessibility for citizens through CUPSs at both district and country level.

Thanks to CUPS, citizens can access quality public services directly from their locality, without the need to travel to large cities or distant administrative centers.  By opening these centers, rural citizens benefit from a significant improvement in access to public services, reducing the time, financial resources and effort needed to obtain the documents or assistance they need.

The participants showed great interest in CUPS and wanted to know more about the requirements for setting up a CUPS in their localities, the list of services provided and the conditions of employment of specialized staff. Concerns and suggestions were also expressed about the e-APL platform for Local Public Authorities, which could significantly contribute to facilitating the work of local public administrations.
