New in EVO - public service appointments for citizens and entrepreneurs. What citizens will find in the new module

2024-11-05 08:40

The E- Governance Agency and the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitization announce the launch of a new module within the EVO application - Service Appointments. Through it, citizens can make appointments at various public institutions without additional visits or waiting time.

The appointments module is integrated with the national platform programari.gov.md and includes, for the first time, 15 services provided by three public institutions:

  • Ministry of Foreign Affairs (12 services provided by 32 embassies and consulates)
  • National Archives Agency (2 services)
  • Entrepreneurship Development Organization (1 service provided by 2 offices)

Thus, citizens can make appointments for various public services, saving time and simplifying access to services.

 “This module is a new benefit for citizens, designed to simplify their lives and save them time. We aim to completely redefine the way citizens interact with the state and we are taking determined steps to do so. The list of services will continue to grow as integrations are completed. Ultimately, we aim to make it simple and easy for any citizen to book an appointment with any public service and manage their interaction with the state anytime and from anywhere, directly from their phone, through EVO”, says Dumitru Alaiba, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization.

 Cum How does the Appointments module in EVO work?

  3. Select a convenient date and time;

The module allows easy management of appointments by offering the following additional functionalities:

EVO – all public services, directly on your phone

EVO is the integrated government app that simplifies citizens' access to public services. Launched publicly on June 6, 2024, the app offers access to digital documents, information about citizens and businesses, the ability to make payments for various services, and now the option to schedule appointments.

To access all EVO functionalities, citizens need an electronic signature.

Anyone can choose between a mobile electronic signature (offered by Orange or Moldcell) or a USB stick electronic signature, issued by STISC or in all ASP offices.

Users are encouraged to set up their 2-step authentication, or install the EVOSign application for easy access and authentication, once they have an electronic signature.
