Between theory and practice in digital governance
On the eve of the International Students’ Day, the E-Governance Agency (AGE) organized two information and discussion sessions with young students, one dedicated to students from the Faculty of International Relations, Political and Administrative Sciences of the State University of Moldova and the other to a group of government trainees, 3rd edition, at the initiative of the State Chancellery.
During these meetings, AGE representatives presented to the young participants the governmental digital ecosystem, the developed innovative solutions and applications, as well as the main objectives of the Digital Transformation Strategy for 2023-2030, which aims to form a modern digital society, centered on citizens and aligned with the European integration agenda.
Combining theory with practice, these activities responded to the needs and expectations of young people, eager to explore digital services and to learn in practice how technology can facilitate interaction with state institutions and contribute to building a modern and connected society.
AGE specialists spoke to the young people about Moldova’s potential to become a regional model in the digitalization of public administration, sharing our e-governance solutions with other countries.
AGE is also always open to contribute to preparing future public sector employees for a career based on innovation and modernization, by implementing information and digital skills development programs, both by organizing offline events and online training platforms by making training available on the mlearn.gov.md platform.
Young people showed increased interest in topics related to digitization, e-governance products and opportunities offered by modern technology. They emphasized the usefulness of such information sessions and were curious to learn more about digital identity and the EVO application.
