Webinar on using digital solutions in public procurement
Over 200 public procurement specialists, representatives of public institutions and the private sector attended a webinar dedicated to the use of digital solutions in public procurement. The objective of the event was to present trends and news on digital Governance solutions to optimize and streamline public procurement procedures.
According to the agenda, representatives of the e-Governance Agency (EGA), Artur Reaboi, principal architect, and Ion Stratan, project manager, presented the latest Governance applications such as EVO and EVOSign and how they can be used in public procurement procedures. EGA experts gave a detailed insight into how digital solutions can help automate and streamline processes and increase transparency in procurement.
Along the way, participants showed a keen interest in exploring these digital solutions, being active and asking questions to the experts about the challenges. In particular, they discussed issues related to the use of electronic signature for signing or authentication in various information systems, the provisions of the regulatory framework in force, challenges and advantages in signing electronic documents using various digital signature tools available in the Republic of Moldova.
They also expressed their confidence that the presented information and the gained knowledge will ensure a more efficient implementation of these technologies and contribute to the development of a more innovative and competitive business environment, thus facilitating the continuous improvement of public procurement practices.
The webinar was organized at the initiative of the Achizitii.md team, in collaboration with EGA and the Information Technology and Cyber Security Service.
