DIGITAL GOVERNANCE SOLUTIONS TO SUPPORT THE AUTHORITIES OF THE AUTONOMOUS TERRITORIAL UNIT OF GAGAUZIA

A group of mayors and other public administration representatives from the southern districts of Comrat, Ciadîr-Lunga and Vulcănești (ATU of Gagauzia) benefited from a training session in the field of e-governance, presented in Comrat by the e-governance expert Igor Bercu, delegated from the Electronic Governance Agency (EGA).

 

Over 50 participants learned in detail about the opportunities provided by the digital services and platforms developed by EGA and tested the functionalities of the new integrated governmental application EVO, recently launched by the Government of the Republic of Moldova to facilitate citizens’ interaction with the State to obtain public services.

 

During the event, e-governance products available for citizens and businesses were demonstrated, such as: electronic signature and identity (MSign), virtual personal cabinet (MCabinet), electronic powers of attorney (MPower), document delivery (MDelivery), MPay electronic payments, Cultural Voucher, Public Services Portal, aimed to strengthen the digital skills of local and regional administration representatives and to contribute to streamlining and modernizing the process of delivering public services in digital format.

 

Training session is part of a series of training activities, conducted including in the territory, within the Training Programme on Knowledge of the Latest Digital Governance Solutions, conducted by EGA, aimed at accelerating the digital transformation process and increasing the level of digital literacy of the population, as well as building an advanced digital society in the Republic of Moldova.
