MOVING FORWARD ON THE DIGITAL AGENDA ALONG WITH NEW PARTNERS
The e-Governance Agency and the Future Technologies Activity Project will cooperate under the Partnership Agreement signed on 14 December 2022. As stipulated in the document, the partnership is aimed at digitalizing the economy and developing e-government solutions to support the private sector for a stronger business environment.
By signing this agreement, the two signatory institutions made a strong commitment to support the digital transformation of the Republic of Moldova, taking into account the needs and interests of the public and private sectors and citizens of the Republic of Moldova. The parties established a cooperation framework in order to capitalize on technologies and develop e-government solutions for businesses.
The key objectives of the said Agreement are as follows:
- Develop, launch and promote an easy-to-use governmental mobile application (Government in your Pocket) with interconnected services for individuals and companies that will make government services and processes more accessible;
- Implement and adopt e-government services for remote business operation.
The document was signed electronically by Olga Tumuruc, Director of the e-Governance Agency, and Doina Nistor, Director of the Future Technologies Activity Project, funded by USAID and Sweden.
The partners agreed on priority areas of cooperation that will have the greatest impact on Moldovan businesses and consumers.
