EGA - AN ACTIVE PARTNER SUPPORTING DIGITALISATION PROJECTS AT REGIONAL AND LOCAL LEVEL
The Director of the e-Governance Agency, Olga Tumuruc, participated today, 25 May 2022, at Cahul Business Summit, event organized by the Cahul Mayor's Office, in partnership with EU4Moldova: Startup City Cahul, as part of activities dedicated to the European Union Days.
"It is a good opportunity to participate in the Summit organized in Cahul city and to share information about the latest governmental digital transformation tools that can be used by both public authorities and businesses to optimise their activities. EGA has a bold and useful mission to bring added value to the administrative and economic activity by means of technological innovation. By applying technologies, we manage to modernize services, to revolutionize industries and to streamline the interaction for the benefit of all persons and entities", said Olga Tumuruc.
The EGA Director's address focused on the component "Digital transformation of Cahul region" and brought to the public attention a series of digital news that will be made available to all those interested in a better online interaction in such areas as public administration, trade, industry, entrepreneurship and in any other fields that cannot be conceived without innovation and technology. Among others, the following were presented: the e-LPA concept, the MobiSign Governmental Mobile Identity and Electronic Signature Service Concept, the MPower Service, the MCabinet Service, the MPay Service, etc.
The event was attended by ambassadors, specialists and representatives of the Government and other public authorities, including those from abroad, national and local IT organizations and companies, European Union representatives for regional development, representatives of educational institutions and International Centres, local entrepreneurs. The participants came together to raise awareness of the opportunities for regional entrepreneurial development and to attract new investments for the Cahul region. The organizers proposed to define the roadmap for the e-transformation of local and national businesses, by efficiently integrating technology and stimulating innovation in the key sectors of the region.
Cahul Business Summit is at its first edition and aims to develop the entrepreneurial industry, the digital transformation of the Cahul region and to increase the investment potential in the region.
