Determining disability and work capacity

Among the benefits of this modernized service can be listed:
- reducing the time for providing the service;
- reduction of bureaucracy;
- paper removal;
- the possibility of submitting the application and related documents in electronic format, etc.
The system will be hosted by the common platform MCloud and integrated with government electronic services MConnect, MPass, MSign.
Main activities performed in the previous reporting period:
The system was developed and placed on the production environment;
The new Disability Determination and Work Capacity system was installed in the first semester of year 2021 on the production environment on platform in MCloud.
The IS was tested internally and externally:
The Is Determination of Disability and Work Capacity was tested by the officials from the National Council for Determination of Disability and Work Capacity (NCDDWC), being placed on both the test and the production environment.
The piloting in real life scenario of the IS started in January 2022; The information system was put into operation at the end of March.
Through Government Decision 50/2022, the Concept of the Automated Information System "Determination of disability and work capacity" and the Regulation on the organization and operation of the Automated Information System "Determination of disability and work capacity" were approved.
Next step. Update the system with new functionalities and transfer to the Beneficiary
On 2 February 2022, the Cabinet approved the Concept of the Information System "Determination of disability and work capacity" and the Regulation on the organization and functioning of the Information System "Determination of disability and work capacity" (AIS DDWC).
The document provides for the establishment of a computerized and information resource, which will allow raising the efficiency of the procedures for the determination of disability and work capacity, as well as ensuring interoperability with other information systems, in order to collect the information required for the determination of the degree of disability of the applicants, and their registration.
Also, once the AIS DDWC is implemented, the following operations will be performed on time:
1. Online submission of the application by the applicant/beneficiary;
2. Halving the time required to provide the requested service;
3. Online access to the appointment system;
4. Possibility for online verification of the status of application submitted by the citizen/applicant;
5. Reducing the number of documents to be presented by the applicant, given that some of them will be accessible and verified through the interoperability platform MConnect;
6. Facilitating the access through governmental platforms MPass and MSign.
