At the end of December 2021, the Automated Information System for the Registration of Unemployed was launched. As a result of the re-engineering and modernization of the provision of this service by the National Employment Agency, as a service provider, citizens can submit online application to register as unemployed, without being obliged to appear at the counter, as it used to be.
The application can be submitted both in traditional form, on paper, and in electronic form, with a digital signature, by accessing the link: https://e-iss.anofm.md/
The new system is hosted on the MCloud common platform and is integrated with governmental electronic services, such as MConnect, MPass and MSign. Also, if the applicant submits the application from his/her account (MCabinet), he/she may track the status of the application, as well as the decision on determination of the unemployment benefit, as the case may be. Subsequently, the unemployed person may inform electronically the STOFM (territorial employment unit) about any condition for the suspension of the benefit.
The advantages of using the Automated Information System for the Registration of Unemployed are as follows:
- Reducing the number of visits to the STOFM;
- Reducing the number of documents requested upon application (some of them can be verified through the interoperability platform MConnect);
- Extra accessibility upon online application;
- Possibility to submit the application from the personal account, which allows the applicant to track the status of the application and the decision, as applicable;
- Electronic information of the STOFM unit about any condition for the suspension and/or cessation of the benefit.
