New interns at EGA
Under the Cooperation Agreement between the Public Institution "Electronic Governance Agency" (EGA) and the Technical University of Moldova (UTM), a group of young people, students at the Faculty "Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics", specialty "Computers and networks", will benefit from an internship programme at EGA.
The interns, together with their mentors: Octavian Godonoga, Vasile Mustuc, Maxim Calpacci and Svetlana Macrinici, appointed from among the e-governance specialists, will learn from the work experience of the EGA employees and will participate in various activities, while being involved in certain processes, in order to deepen the theoretical knowledge gained during their studies and to develop practical skills in their fields of interest.
On their first day at EGA, the young people discussed with the EGA Director, Olga Tumuruc, and other experts, who gave them a brief presentation of EGA's activity, informed them about the internship activity plan and the ways of involving the interns in various work teams. The students also had a brainstorming session about communication and teamwork, engagement, volunteer projects and their impact on the development of an employee's personality. Interns were interested and eager to learn as much as possible from the "kitchen" of the e-governance team, to gain experience and to attend practical work sessions with the digital product developers.
The internship programme lasts 4 weeks, during which the 6 young people will be familiarized with various projects on IT development, governance e-Transformation and others related to the digitization of government services. They will be involved in activities related to the development of information systems, database management systems, software development, architectures for the design of products and platforms created at EGA. During the internship programme, the mentors will supervise the fulfilment of practical assignments and will assess the level of professional skills acquired by interns and their results.
After the successful completion of the internship, the young specialists will be able to apply for the vacant positions available at EGA.
