The infrastructure created by the Center for Electronic Government – Cloud Computing (MCloud), electronic payment system (MPay), signature and authentication services (MSign, MPass) – all have been made available to state institutions in order to be able to provide sector electronic services faster and at lower costs.
The event was attended by the World Bank Regional Chief of Party for Belarus, Moldova, and Ukraine, Mrs. Satu Kahkonen, who mentioned that: ”The results are impressive, we would like to replicate the Republic of Moldova’s experience in other countries of the region, and not only.”
“The infrastructure developed under the E-Transformation of Government Project represents a necessary element in implementing the “Modernization of Public Services in the Republic of Moldova” Project, highlighted Alex Kreme, Country Director for Moldova.
World Bank senior officials also visited the Common Technological Platform Data Centers (Mcloud), where the Director of the State Enterprise Center for Special Telecommunications (CTS) Serghei Popovici and the Executive Director of the Center for Electronic Government Iurie Țurcanu spoke about the functionality and capacity of MCloud Platform.
