The events dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Electronic Governance Agency (EGA) in the Republic of Moldova continue with a series of interviews with the participation of people making the digital change of governance.

Invited to the Public Space show at the public station Radio Moldova, the EGA Director Iurie Turcanu spoke about the objectives and plans of his institution.

The EGA Director pointed out the importance of Government's activity in a friendly environment for both citizens and the global community, by reducing the harmful effects on the environment. "Strengthening institutional relations and cooperation for the benefit of citizens is the starting point in any project launched by the EGA and its partners. At the same time, the 24/7 accessibility of public services is one of the successes of the institution during 10 years of its activity", Iurie Turcanu mentioned.

Also during the show, Iurie Turcanu spoke about those over 170 public services launched so far that minimize the physical presence and bureaucracy, which is a key issue especially during the pandemic.

Also, the guests of the show Adrian Ermurachi, Deputy Secretary General of the Government, Constantin Rusu, Public Sector Specialist at the World Bank Group, and Victor Guzun, expert and active promoter of e-Governance, former Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Estonia, discussed about simplification of obtaining documents by individuals and legal entities, about the Modernization of Government Services Project implemented with the support of the World Bank, and about other projects that are aimed at saving the valuable time of every person.

Communication campaign "10 years of e-Governance – electronic services for everyone!" will take place between 10 October and 20 December 2020 and is designed to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the institution mandated to achieve the electronic transformation of governance in the Republic of Moldova.
