Cyber Security – an ongoing concern of the e-Governance Agency in the creation and management of e-services [3]
The e-Governance Agency urges providers and users of government e-services to join actions at European level aimed at marking the 8th European Cybersecurity Month. The annual cybersecurity awareness campaign started earlier this month with the motto "Think Before You Click".
The action is intended to encourage people to think carefully before accessing various links on the Internet and addresses cybersecurity issues to help users identify threats and prepare to face them.
In this context, the e-Governance Agency supports every year this European initiative to raise the level of information and public awareness of information security and will publish a number of materials and recommendations designed to guide users in the safe use of the online environment.
Materials contain up-to-date information on information security and will be available on the EGA website and on our social networks throughout the Communication campaign "10 years of e-Governance – electronic services for everyone!" that started this week.
The annual cybersecurity awareness campaign is coordinated by the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) and the European Commission, and is supported by EU Member States and more than 300 partners from various sectors.
The Republic of Moldova is one of the major partners in Central and Eastern Europe that joined the EU's joint effort to ensure information security, along with such countries as Germany, Estonia, France, Norway, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
