DIGITAL MESSENGERS TO SUPPORT THE POPULATION TO ACCESS ELECTRONIC SERVICES
More than 100 librarians from different localities across the country received the Digital Messengers status after participating in a series of workshops organized by the Electronic Government Agency (EGA) in partnership with the Association of Librarians of the Republic of Moldova.
The four workshops were held at the EGA premises between 20 and 23 June 2023 as part of the outreach and digital education campaign “Digital Nation” and were aimed at equipping librarians with skills and knowledge about the electronic governance solutions for accessing public services available online in the Republic of Moldova.
The Digital Messengers will provide qualified support to the individuals wishing to apply for digital public services and have online interaction with the state institutions through the governmental digital platforms developed by the e-Governance Agency. The new digital products presented to beneficiaries were the Citizen’s Cabinet (MCabinet), the Public Services Portal (servicii.gov.md), the electronic signature service (MSign), representation powers (MPower), the governmental delivery service (MDelivery), the Unified Public Services Centers and others.
At the end of the course, the librarians received certificates recognizing their Digital Messenger status and a set of information materials for library collections and are expected to provide information support to visitors about how to request the online services created based on the country’s digital transformation agenda.
