Pay through the Government e-Payment Service MPay and stay safe

On 17 September 2020, the Government e-Payment Service in the Republic of Moldova MPay, developed by the Public Institution "Electronic Governance Agency" marked seven years since its launch. Over this time, the number of services that can be paid online has been constantly growing. Citizens have the opportunity to make various payments, while saving time, harnessing advanced technologies, and more recently – avoiding the dangers of the pandemic.
MPay is a unique, secure and transparent mechanism for online payment of public services, taxes, duties, fines, private services, entry visas and other payments. It enables users to make payments using electronic payment tools such as a bank card, a payment terminal, a pay desk and an e-banking system.
During seven years since its launch, over 17 million transactions have been made through MPay and more than 10 billion MDL have been paid for about 70 types of public and commercial services.
Individuals and legal entities can access the page mpay.gov.md, which provides beneficiaries with a wide range of services that can be paid quickly and free of charge, without any commission fee.
The MPay service is an information tool developed by the Government through the e-Governance Agency, the Information Technology and Cyber Security Service, the Ministry of Finance in partnership with the National Bank and the private banking sector.
From 15 September to 15 November 2020, the e-Governance Agency, in partnership with VISA, conducts a campaign to promote e-payments through MPay.
