The prospects of the state-business relations rely on process reengineering, on fundamental rethinking and radical reshaping thereof, to generate major changes in key performance indicators such as cost, quality, and speed of service delivery. This statement was made by Iurie Turcanu, the director of the e-Governance Agency (EGA), at Moldova Business Week 2020 International Forum.

During the event, the participants were introduced to the e-governance infrastructure of the Republic of Moldova, which consists of several platforms and micro-services designed to provide typical e-service functionalities such as authentication, payments, data exchange, etc.

The EGA director spoke about the products that can significantly contribute to the development of the business environment, making special reference to the Government Portal of Public Services, the Government Data Portal, the Government Interoperability Platform (MConnect), and the services: MPay, MLog, MPass, MSign and MNotify.

Iurie Turcanu also presented the new products developed by EGA, planned to be launched soon - the Register of representative powers based on electronic signature (MPower) and the Entrepreneur’s Government Portal.

According to the official, the modernization of public services takes place in several stages, including the streamlining of all processes to eliminate outdated services, improving related services, identifying life scenarios and business events, as well as revising and simplifying the general regulatory framework. Creating the best conditions for building a business enabling environment and for attracting investments in the country's economy is an important objective in this process.

The 7th edition of Moldova Business Week International Forum, organized by the Investment Agency, takes place on 19-20 November 2020, in the digital format, giving the international and local community the opportunity to explore new global economic trends and discover the investment potential of the Republic of Moldova.
