CONSULTATIONS TO IDENTIFY FIRST DIGITIZED SERVICES

The E-Government Center, EGC, has launched consultations with the central authorities to identify the first public services to be digitized.
The E-Transformation Coordinators Council, established to coordinate electronic governance processes, shall develop, within two months, a plan for selecting public services to be offered over the Internet and mobile phone. Also, it will examine the level of access to information technology in public institutions and the procurement of software.
This plan will be submitted to the National e-Transformation Committee, chaired by the Prime Minister Vlad Filat. The process of implementation of digitized public services will start in autumn 2011.
